What does design-build mean?
Design-build represents the ability for a client to work with one company for the design and construction of a project. It allows a more unified workflow from initial concept through completion.
How do your prices compare to other contractors?
We take the quality of our work seriously. We do not cut corners and are not one of those contractors that simply get in and get out. We spend the time necessary to make sure things are built correctly and the proper materials are used. We do things right the first time to provide a worry free result to our clients. Therefore, our prices typically fall in the middle range.

Do you offer financing?
At this time, we unfortunately do not offer direct financing, but we are happy to put you in contact with one of our financial mortgage partners to find out additional information.
Why are you called Federal Point Development?
The name is derived from where the company was originally founded. An area along the coast of North Carolina, South of Wilmington. We also take it to mean “the official (Federal) place (Point) for new residential design & construction (Development)”.
How long have you been in business?
After over 15 years working with his father-in-law who is a second-generation builder and general contractor. The company was founded by Ethan Isleib in 2017 after his retirement with a continued focus of providing quality construction.
What if I have my own designer or architectural plans?
No problem, we can work with any designer and with any architectural plans to complete a new home project.
Do you have references?
Absolutely, we are happy to provide references upon request so you can speak firsthand to our clients.
How long do projects take to complete?
Each project has its own unique timeline given the size and scope. We make sure that all materials are ordered ahead of time and our skilled craftsman and trade contractors are lined up so that projects go as quickly and as smoothly as possible.
Do I have to live in your area for your Design Services?
No, we can provide virtual consultations. We have clients from all over and are happy to provide Design Services no matter where you live.
